So sometime ago, I mentioned on a blog post that I rarely buy the same products twice because I like to try new and better things. Well, very few times have I bought things over and over again (such as Nars Blush Orgasm – which is awesome!!). Lancome’s new foundation “Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Makeup Foundation” is one of those special products.

True story: about a month ago, I was at Macy’s to get a new bottle of “Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Makeup Foundation” and guess what?! They were sold out! The woman actually said that the company didn’t expect such a great turn out for this product, and they were pleasantly surprised! So that must say something, right?
Let me tell you that this foundation is super light, it doesn’t clog my pores and I didn’t break out from it. It also has SPF 15 (which is a bit too low for my taste for my sensitive skin, but I’ll take it!). It glides on so smoothly and gives you that matte look which sometimes doesn’t even require a powder after. It doesn’t (at least not mine) leave your skin greasy to a point where i often put moisturizer before the foundation. Yep, it’s that good. At $45, I think it very affordable (comparing to other high end products).
Also, here’s a little tip. Go to a Lancome booth at a department store (Macy’s does it) and ask for a sample. They’ll happily give you a nice amount of the product to try and you can see if you like it. Which is a great for you to try it out before you buy it.
So, I know I always advertise this and that and how great it is but it is only a blog, right? Well, here’s a photo of my makeup cabinet in my bathroom where all the magic happens. I really do use Lancome’s Teinte Idole along with lots of stuff that I mentioned. Like Nars blush, Bobbi Brown Bronzer and Smashbox highlighter thingy which I’ll mention in my next post. It really is what I use, so I’m actually trying this stuff out!
