Why do I love the legendary brand Caudalie? Well, where should I start? This product is made WITHOUT: Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates! Why is that a big deal? Well, a lot of beauty products are made with harmful chemicals and are not even regulated by the FDA….which is a problem. Nobody’s controlling how much chemicals we put inside our body.

Anyway I received a nice big sample from Ipsy and have been trying it our for the last couple of days. It does have a scent and is very lightly creamy and absorbs super quickly. It smells of roses which I personally love. My face felt very hydrated and all you  need is a thin layer all over your face. I love Ipsy because I get to try new products and this one is definitely a keeper! Even in the humid weather, my face doesn’t feel greasy. I also love that I can put contouring powder on top of this moisturizer and not feel like my face is suddenly super dry (which is always a problem for me with powder).

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, $39

From the retailer:

Solutions for:
– Dryness
– Dullness and uneven texture
– Fine lines and wrinkles

If you want to know more…
This cult classic gel-cream deeply hydrates, soothes, and softens all skin types—even the hypersensitive ones. Powered by Caudalie3‘s organic grape water and patented grape-seed polyphenols, this cream not only provides hydration, but it also protects the skin from free-radicals, which causes wrinkles. This formula is rich in Vinolevure® to strengthen skin to become less sensitive and more resilient over time.

When applied, the texture is initially a cream, and once it comes in contact with the skin, it “breaks” and turns into a gel, creating a surge of moisture. This “quick break” technology is the lipophilic technology that allows water to be trapped in the cream, and once the cream touches the skin, it releases the water for lightweight hydration.
